Meningitis is a severe inflammation of the membranes (meninges). This protects your brain and spinal cord. Meningitis is most often caused by bacterial or viral infections.

It is a medical emergency and requires immediate treatment to reduce the risk of life-threatening sepsis or long lasting damage.

Symptoms include fever, headache, neck stiffness, vomiting, and sometimes but not always a rash.

The staff have always been very kind and helpful, they genuinely care about the community that they serve and nothing is too much bother. It has a small independent feel and is much less commercial than the big chains which unfortunately seem to be taking over these days.

The staff operating the phone lines were very helpful and booked us in straight away at our convenience. When we arrived, David (pharmacist) was a joy to speak to and provided excellent service.
